The 40V MAX XGT Brushless 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw (GSH05) provides cordless convenience while taking on high-demand applications. The Makita-built brushless motor delivers up to 5,200 RPM for high-speed cutting performance. The 6-1/2 in. Circular Saw can deliver up to 290 cuts per charge in 2x10 SPF lumber on a fully charged 40V MAX XGT 4 Ah battery (sold separately).

The GSH05 features a 2-1/4 in. cutting capacity at 90 degrees and 1-5/8 in. at 45 degrees, with a 0-50 degrees bevel capacity with positive stops at 22.5 degrees, 45 degrees, and 50 degrees. The saw features electric brake for maximum productivity. It features a die-cast magnesium base, blade guard, and blade cover provide a lightweight design; weighs only 7.9 lbs. with 4 Ah battery.

The saw is also equipped with Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT), which is a series of integrated seals designed to improve a tool's operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components.
